“Successful” means the review substantiated at least one requested action; “unsuccessful” means it did not. “Items removed” counts affected items, so it can exceed successful matters when one matter identifies multiple items. Every received matter is counted once as successful or unsuccessful.

How categories are handled

Child-safety and credible-threat concerns receive priority assessment. Copyright matters are checked against the elements described in the DMCA notice. Other categories are assessed against applicable law and the Terms & Conditions, with actions ranging from no change to access restriction or removal.
